  • Fust and Schoeffer took over Gutenberg`s press in 1455
It was made so almost everybody could afford a bible. It was made by the press in rapid pace so it was cheap. 12 were printed in vellum. Since there are only 47 surviving copies left and United States has 13, i wonder where the rest are?
